Ir, Paul Whitehead* the best known minister, perhaps, in Methodist circles in Virginia, is reported as sf rioudy ill in u hospital in Richmond and hardly expected to recover,though lie ma} linger for sev« ral days- II* has been secretary of the Virginia Conference for the la-t fifty years and during that time has always occupied a prominent place in the deliberations of that body.
