A Pioneer of Morgan County, AgedNine-Three Years.Martinsville, Ind., March 29.—William Parker, aged 94 and the oldest man in the county, is dead. He was born in North Carolina, Oct. tO, lt'OO. His wife survives him and is but 14 days his junior. Twenty-six children are born to them, but only two are now living.Mr. and Mrs. Parker wore two of the early pioneers and have been residents of Clay township half a century. Mr. Parker s 10411 sts for a very plain and simple funeral service and that his body be conveyed to the graveyard in an ordinary farm wagon were fully carried out.Mr. and Mrs. Parker were a remarkable old couple. They were manied on Christinas day, llt;s.;», m ar Ve.-sailles, in Ripley couuty. Thirty-live years ago they settled about six miles north of Martinsville, whoru they have lived ever since. They seldom hut their home, even for the briefest time.
