'One business I'd-really like to see in Annapolis is another pool hall.The city currently has few places to play pool ~ Jillian's in Parole and a few tables in Eastport are the closest.And getting on a table in those bars is sometimes harder than finding a downtown merchant who thinks Ron Hollander's damaged Main Street wall should be kepi up.'Well before my time the city had at least one Main Street pool hall, Pete’s Place.Pete's is long gone, but high-class pool halls are mating a comeback. Look at any American city now and you are sure to find an upscale pool * hall raking in the dough.Of course, getting approval to open a new bar in the Historic District is dose to impossible, but a well-kept, fancy pool hall with lots of tables wouldn't be a bad addition to the city’s current cookie-cutterGot a hot business tip?
