(UPI)— Ten meet records were broken or tied Saturday in the 13th annual Arkansas Relays while Missouri and Ok lahoma State established them selves as powers in the young track season. Missouri won three relay events, two by record times, and Oklahoma State captured two relay events and set three records The Missouri team of Ray mond Bethea, Erick Alexan der, Garet Von Netzer, and Calvin Groff tied the 480-yard shuttle hurdle relay record of 1:00.4 set in 1960 by Kansas State. Missouri set another relay record when its distance med ley team of Larry Ray, Wil liam Rawson, Charles Conrad and Robin Lingle clocked in at 9:57.5, bettering the 10:06.0 set by Purdue in 1961. Oklahoma State set a record in the mile relay at 3:12.9 eclipsing that 1961 mark of 3:13.2 by Missouri. Dave Per ry anchored the Cowboy team of Ray Bothwell, John Miller and John Perry. Oklahoma State also won the 88-yard relay and got a pair of individual first places from Russell Laverty in the high jump and Preston Holsinger in the pole vault. Laverty's jump of 6-feet-7 bettered the old record of 6-feet-5%, set by Mark Brady of Oklahoma in 1962 and Holsinger cleared 15- feet-4 to nip the pole vault rec ord of 15-feet-33, set in 1960 by Jim Graham of Oklahoma State Arkansas F. Renfrow cleared the 12%-yard high hur dies in 13.9 seconds to beat the meet record of 14 flat set in 1961 by Rex Stucker of Kansas State
