Bride-Elect is Honored at Gift ShowerComplimentary to Miss' MyrtleHacker of Calpella, who will become the bride of Emil Zimmer-.man of Scotia in a ceremony at the Calpella Community church in April, Mrs. Ella Boyd and Mrs. Sam Newell entertained at a bridal shower Saturday evening. Mrs. Boyd’s home was the setting for the shower.The hostesses used pink and white as the color scheme, with a wedding cake topped with bride and groom as the centerpiece. Tiny iced flowers and birds were used on the cake. A miniature bungalow made of pink and white crepe paper, complete with tiny lace curtains, held the shower gifts. The Sunday School class taught by Miss Hacker presented her with a beautiful gift.During the evening an instrumental trio of Julia and Ella Boyd and Clifford Winders played. Thirty-four guests feted the attractive bride to be, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hacker.Among those present were: litf'r. and Mrs. Harry Zimmerman, Mr. and Mrs. George Barnclc, Jane, June, Billy and Hugh Barrick, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Lane, James Rics-land, Gail Bennie, Wilson Newell, Mrs. U.
