Lynnwood. March 28—John Lu ther Walker of Roanoke spent several days last week, visiting in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther V. Walker. Mr. and Mrs. W. Clyde Payne of Welch, W. Va., spent their Faster vacation in the home of Dr. and am Albert S. Kemper at “Bogo a Miss Trene Heltzel, Principal In the Lynnwood Graded School, spent her Easter vacation in Wash ington, D. C. John Blackburn Kemper was re cently removed from the home of Mp enc Mrs. G. Fred Switzer of Limburg to that of his par ents, Dr. and Mrs. Albert S. Kem per at “Bogota”. Young Kemper who has been confined to his bed for over ten weeks, is improving and is now able to sit up in bed. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Lilly of Welch, W. Va., are visiting in the home of Dr. and Mrs. Albert S. Kemper. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Worthing ton and daughter, Betty, of Luray, were week-end guests at “Bogota”, the home of Dr. and Mrs. AlbertS. Kemper. Mrs. Oscar Shifflett and chil dren returned to their home in Grouoes, Sunday, after visiting relatives in this section. Mrs. Sallie Morris, of Pine Knot, recently visited in the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Knight. Mr. and Mrs. G. Fred Switzer, of Harrisonburg were guests in the home of Dr. and Mrs. AlbertS. Kemper, Sunday. Many people from this section attended the Seven-Eleven Mins trel Show and Cake Walk at Port Republic High School last Friday evening. Archdeacon Neve and Rev. Tompson of near Charlottesville conducted services at Grace Bois on Cres last Friday evening. union Services were held. Harry Scott, of Staunton, was a business visitor in this community last week.
