Plan Is to Make Trip to Marlin Sun day Afternoon—Meeting Last Night. President Lemke, of the Motorcycle club, outlined a run to Marlin for next Sunday, at the called meeting of the club last night. It is planned to leave Waco at 1:40 p. t. Sunday, going via East Waco to Garrison, Riesel, Perry, thence to Marlin and returning after a thirty-minute stop at Chilton, Mooreville, Levi, Hillside and Rosen thal, returning to Waco on the west side. The club has taken up quarters at all tranksin street, which are per manent. It is from these quarters that the riders will leave Sunday. Four squads, each in charge of a leader, will make the trip. The ride will not be for speed but simply a pleasure ride. The following are the squads and leaders: No. 1—Lieut. Knowles in charge; B ruck, C. Hunter, F. Reeves, A. D. Lippard, W. Barton, No. 2—Lieut. Winburn, ©. Mayer, 8. Rodgers, Carl Lemke, F. ©. Elkins, F. Gallagher. No. 3—President Lemke, Geo. Bag by, Fuzzy Clark, W. Bb. Thompson, Samora, J. Rack, Gladden Hall, No. 4—Captain Stewart, Lawrence Hall, J. S. Waytek, Vincent Aerl, H. Kestner, Wm. Cantrell, W. H. Fagan. These squads will leave five minutes apart. The lamp offered by Lawrence Hall for the Winning squad of last Sun day’s race was presented to the lead er of the squad, Lieut. Knowles, who made a speech of acceptance for him self and squad. A letter was read from State Com missioner of the F. A. M., Chas. Hol land, who states that he thinks that the Otate F. A. M. will meet at Waco about July 4. The local club is very enthusiastic over this announcement.
