GIRLS OBJECT UOCAR FOR SPOONERS, South Norwalk. Conn., March 25.— . South Norwalk, by reason of a big cor-1 set shop and its many shirt and lace factories, possesses a surplus of pretty girls, while Rowayton. a suburb, teems with young men. A petition to the trolley company signed by these young | women and young men asking for a midnight trolley car to Rowayton for ; the accommodation of the young swains was granted by the company. The car is crowded each night and is known as i the “Spooners’ car.”Now the young women of Rowayton • have complained to the company about , the car and ask that the last car be run at 10, as formerly, that they may regain the attention of their native young i men.
