CONFIDENTIAL MEETING.The Virginia Conference of the Evangelical Lutheran Tennessee Synod will convene (D. V.) in its 40th convention in Powder Springs Union church, (Rev. R. II. Cline, pastor,) near Orkney Springs, Shenandoah Co., Va., beginning at 10 o’clock A. M., on Thursday, before the 5th Sunday in April, 1893. It will be the special object of this convention of conference to discuss Theses.J. Paul Stikewalt, Sec.SYNODICAL NOTICE.The 90th Annual Convention of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of North Carolina will beheld in Lutheran Chapel, China Grove, Rowan Co., N. SYNOD.The congregations, composing the Virginia Conference of tho Evangelical Lutheran Tennessee Synod, are hereby, by order of the President, directed to elect and send delegates to represent the congregations in tho 40th convention cf said Conference, to bo hold in Powder Springs church, Shenandoah Co., Va., beginning on Thursday before the fifth Sunday in April, 1898.J.
