‘ CARTON.New Grist Mill.—A few days since we visited the New Mill, owned and occupied by Lucias Moody Esq. of Canton. This Mill although not very large, is substantially built of brick, three stories high, and the mill wrighting is of the first order; put up by J. R, Fulton and Bro, of Waddington, the grinding is done by four run of stone. In the upper part of the mill it a po ■ erful Com sheller, capable of shelling a bushel of Cora a minute.Mr. Moody, sustained quite a serious loss during the late freshet. An account of which we gave a few days since, he will however make things all right in the spring.
