GOLDEN WEDDINGMr. and Mrs. Charles Stenson celebrated their Golden Wedding Saturday at the Community Hall in Hardy with 110 relatives and friends as their guests. Mrs. Stenson was born in) France, coming to America when she was but thirteen years of age, with her parents wrho settled near Republic, Kans. Mr.Stenson was born in Illinois, coming t ) Republic county, Kansas, when but a young man. They were married at her home near Republic, March 23, 1885. Mr. and Mrs. Stenson are the parents of six children, all of whom atteded the Golden Wedding with their families, except George, who passed away many years ago. After living many years near Republic and in Oklahoma. Mr. and Mrs. Stenson retired in Hardy, Nebr., in 1919. Their five children, Mrs. Ed Fischer and family, of Republic, Harry Stenson and family, Claud Stenson and family, Everett tenson and family and Mrs Frank Moore and family of Hardy, eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren were in attendance.
