Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stensoncelebrated their Golden Wedding Saturday at the CommunityHall in Hardy with 110 relativesand friends as their guests.Mrs. Stenson was born in»France, coming to America whenshe was but thirteen years ofage, with her parents wTho settled near Republic, Kans. Mr.Stenson was born in Illinois,coming to Republic county, Kansas, when but a young man.They were married at her homenear Republic, March 23, 1885.Mr. and Mrs. Stenson are theparents of six children, all ofwhom atteded the Golden Wedding with their families, exceptGeorge, who passed away manyyears ago. After living manyyears near Republic and in Oklahoma. Mr. and Mrs. Stenson retired in Hardy, Nebr., in 1919.Their five children, Mrs. EdFischer and family, of Republic,Harry Stenson and family, ClaudStenson and family, Everett£tenson and family and MrsFrank Moore and family ofHardy, eighteen grandchildrenand four great grandchildrenwere in attendance. Those herefrom a distance were: Mr. andMrs. Ernest Eiserman; of Mun-den. Geo. Beck, of Oklahoma,! Mr. and Mrs. Jake Beck andfamily, of Bostwick, Nebr , Mr.and Mrs. Walter Eiserman anamother, of Superior, Mr. andMrs. Dex Wilton, of Abdal, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Grandquil1 Davidson, of Abdal. Their manyfriends join in extending congratulations and best wishes.
