William Maibauer Arrested.William C. Maibauer of Me-*daryville, was arrested at South Bend last Friday, charged withbeing a “white slave” agent. When arrested he was in the fompany of Miss Dorothy Dale of that city, whom he was taking to Culver to place her in an immoral resort. According tQ the press dispatches Maibauer has been under suspicion for some fime as being a white slave trgf-icer and it is claimed that he |»as possibly lured several girls from that city and placed them n a life of shame. If Maibauer’s else should be turned over to the federal court, and should he be fejndguilty.it will mean that pe shall serve five years a t fjeavensworth, Kansas. Atty. H. A.
