Their many friends are pleased to welcome them home.ObituaryJohn Early, born Jan. 25, 1834, in Lockingham county, Va.t died Mar. 20, 1913, aged 79 years, 1 month and 25 days.Married in 1855 to the noble woman who survives him, and to which union six children were born, four of whom preceded him to the great beyond, the remaining two being Mrs. Mongen of Creeton and Mrs. Thomas of Idaho, both of whom were present at the last.He united with the Dunkard church at an early age, and was ordained to the ministry about 1879. Since that time he has been preaching to the people, without pay and without price, wherever and whenever an opportunity presented itself, telling of the Christ who died for all; forgetting self in his earnest efforts for the betterment of humanity. Most surely has he fought a giod fight. He has kept the faith and has finished the course, and it can be truly said that he was one of the grandest old patriarchs who ever trod the face of God's green footstool.We were all loth to give him up, but what is our loss is his eternal gain.The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ebley of Idaho, a friend of the deceased who had requested that he be called to perform this duty. Prayer was given by Brother Kaufman. The hymns sang were “Shall We Meet Beyond the River, “Asleep in Jeaus and “The Lord Is My Shepherd, after which the remains were tenderly laid to rest in Fairview cemetery, amidst the sorrowing throng of relatives and friends.There la no death; the atara go down To rUe upon aome fairer ahore.And there in heaven's jeweled crown To ablne foretcr more.
