OBITUARIES.RICHARD DIBBLERichard Dibble, aged 78 years, diedat, his home at Flat Rock, Wednesday morning at 5 o’clock. Mr. Dibble had been sick nearly all winter, but was thought to be holding his own. He was born In Essex and came here when quite young. He took a prominent*.part in political affairs, representing •the town in the legislature in 1861. He was a member of the board of county commissioners for eig-bt years, and was eleoted to office of selectmanand assessor many times. He was amemberof the Congregational church and later joined the Episcopal. A widow aod seven cliildren, five sonsand two daughters survive him. The funeral services were held from his late residence yesterday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. G. 1. Brown officiating, burial in Damascus cemetery. The bearers were Charles E. Van Sands, C. E[egelheimer, A. R. Engquist, George S. Pond, Charles E. Liosley,Herbert E. Thatcher.Mr. Dibble was a memberof WidowsSon lodge, No. 66, F. A. M., and a delegation from ihe lodge attended the funeral and took charge of the ! services at the grave.
