Commissioners to view jail bidsLIVINGSTON » Polk County Commissioners will meet Monday to open bids on jail improvements and handle other personnel items.The court is scheduled to approve bond for Bill Garsee, the newly chosenconstable for Precinct 3 and accept the current constable Jerry Ivy’s resignation.The court is also expected to accept the resignation of assistant district Attorney Steven A. Nelson.The court will also open bids on improvements for the Polk County jaiiwhich include an intercom system.The court will hold its regular business meeting Monday at 10 a.m. in the courthouse.
