LOGAN — Mrs. Grace Lowery, 57, wife of Bert Lowery, died Fri day afternoon at her home in West Logan following an illness of four years. A native of Vinton County, she had been a resident of Logan for more than a year. Services will be held at 2 p. m. from the Liberty Hill Church in Vinton County, with Rev. Stanley Wiant, pastor of the Logan First Methodist Church, in charge. Bur ial will be made in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. Survivors besides the husband, include eight children by a pre vious marriage, Herman Steele, Logan Route 1; Alva Steele, Gore Route 1; Harold Steele, Columbus; Leo Steele, Dundas; Pvt. Paul Steele, with the U. S. Army in the South Pacific; Seaman 2-c Boyd Steele, Newport, R. L; Miss Bea trice Steele, Toledo; two stepsons, Pfc. Charles Lowery, with the Army in Italy, and Samuel, of Creole; eight grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
