It maintains and operates 50 miles of standard gauge railroad, and employes more than 400 men.Its operations include drying, sawing lumber and manufacturing hardwood flooring in large quantities. Its principal offices and plants are located at Pisgah Forest, three miles t from Brevard. The company is capitalized at $250,000 and its pay rolls amount to about $275,000 annually.
