M. Flynn, who since the resignation of the former president, Mr. Redus, has been acting as head of the league, presided over the meeting, and Mr. A. L. Weiss, of Meridian, acted as secretary. After a discussion of the business of the 1913 season, the reorganization was perfected and Mr. Flynn was elected president and secretary, at a salary of 5600 for the year Mr. Weiss was elected vice-president.Mr. J. G. Oliver, of Pensacola, and Mr. W. F. Ormond, of Selma, who were present at the meeting, made a request of the directors that on account of mile-eage, etc., their home teams be released trom the Cotton States League. Upon motion the request was granted.Aberdeen and Corinth were admitted into the league yesterday, and the circuit now includes four towns, Meridian and Columbus being the other two. Mr. Flynn stated that he had heard from Tupelo and Jackson and that they are both willing to accept franchises. This now means that six teams will form the circuit for the coming season.The opening date was not announced yesterday, Mr. Flynn having stated that he expected to call another meeting soon, at ma[ which time he expected to have present a representation from ^ the four new towns. nitAmong the out of town men , who attended the meeting were:Mr. A.
