COREY IWas born in Ashtabula county, Ohio, March 11, 1835. He married Lydia Har- ^ risou, of Morton’s Corners, Morrow countscfiIty, in 1857 and soon afterward moved to this community and has ever since lived here, becoming a companion to his contemporaries and a father to many a man here present He was converted in 1870 j at Mt. Pleasant church and has ever f since exemplified his religion more in j action than in words and pretentions. ,He was also a member of the Masonicorder, the Knights of Pythias, the Junior Order and the G. A R. These hecherished, as his nature was to love bisfeliowman. He died March 18, 1908, atYork, Ohio, aged 73 years and one week He leaves behind a widow and threelossand two brothers still survive him. Everyone for miles around knew Charley,only to love him and they will long cherish his memory. To the wife—a lovinghusband; to the children—a kind father;to the community—a beneficent friend;!to the country—a loyal supporter; to his God—a true worshipper. 8uch was Charley Corey.
