HARDENBURGis a very lively place, and can boast of as good a Wagon shop, as can be found in thisMpart of the State. Messrs. J. L. Everheart Co. are the proprietors, and they giveemployment to about .twenty workmen. This firm is now engaged in manufacturing wagons for the Southern market. All cf their wagons are made from the very best material, and for beauty of finish and d urability, they are unexcelled.Next in the manufacturing line, is the extensive Saw and Grist Mill of Brown Buckley, where our No. l Jennings county wheat is ground into the best quality of flour, and our choice timber cut into lumber that is saleable in any market,It might be said that the Boot and Shoe manufactory of Everheart ranks next on tbe list—at least in usefulness, if not in extent—for if there is, in that part of the country, any u one thing needful,” that one thing is covering for the feet.
