CKRTJrS; Summened to the Great Beyond. Mrs, Emily Curtis, wife of R, C. Curtis, who has been confined to her bed since early in July, 1904, died at her home northeast of town at 3 o’clock Monday morning. Her ailment was pronouncedcancer of the stomach by thephysicians about two months ago, and she was taken to Rochester, Minn., for treat-ment, but it was of no avail. Since her return from that place she gradually sank away until Monday morning when her life slipped away. She was bom in England about forty-five years ago, coming to this country when but a baby. She leavfes beside her husband and eight children, an aged mother, four brothers and one sister. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. A. Miller of the M, E. church. The remains were taken to Forest'City for interment.
