THE STAR: SUNDAY, MARCH 25, 1990Woman hurt in train accidentKaren Russell, 40, of Hazel Crest was injured Thursday afternoon when the car she was driving was struck by a train at the BO Railroad tracks on 162nd Street in South Holland. Russell, who was listed in goodStar photo by Todd Panagopouloacondition at Ingalls Memorial Hospital Friday, was charged with failure to yield and driving too fast for conditions. Police said Russell attempted to drive around the crossing gates and beat the train.
