Susan WaimerSusan Elizabeth Waimer daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Wright, was born in Jefferson County, Kansas on April 30, 1892. On Dec. 24, 1907 she was united in marriage to Guy Rickman at McLouth, Kansas and to this union three children were bom.They moved to Arnolds Park in April of 1914, where they lived ever since. Her husband, Guy a daughter, Katherine, herparents, three brothers, and one sister preceded her in death. On June 1, 1939 she was united inmarriage to Orville Waimer in Sioux Falls, S.D. They raised her granddaughter, Carolyn Sue, daughter of Katherine and Carlton Kenison. •She was a member of the Friends - Church for several years. She was very active in the Ladies Aid and . Legion Auxiliary . She was interested in nshing and being with her many friends until her health began to -fail five years ago.On March 14,1976 she passedaway at Milford after a lone illness.She leaves to mourn Jier passing: her husband, Orville-a son, Orville Rickman; and a daughter, Mrs. Mike Waimer, hoth of Arnolds Park; a sister Mrs. Ralph Pentiin of the Milford Nursing Center; three:.granddaughters; and seven greatHgrandchUdren.Services were held Wednesday, March 17, at the Friends Church in Arnolds Park with the Rev. Paul Baiotto officiating. Music was by Mrs. Larry Miller, Mrs. Nino Lellamare, and Mrs. Paul Baiotto, organist. Hymns were “The Old Rugged Cross”, and How Great Thou Art”. Pallbearers were Roland • Gardner, L. J. Hackett, Dewey-* Olson, Don Reason, Roy Sams, and Richard Vander Woude.was in the Okoboji Cemetery at Arnolds Park.
