Obituary Notic* of Anderoon AmotAnderson Atnoa vis born at Knoxville, Iowa, March 4, 1866, ahd died at Arlington, Iowa, Match 19, 1943. His age was 87 years and 15 days.Anderson Amos was a child ol Christopher and Sarah Fee Amos. The other children were James, John. Samuel. George, Jack, Mary and Esther.In the year 1896 ho was united In marriage to Miss Maggie Pettit. To this union Christopher, a daughter who died when hut a child, Archie, Jesse and Howard were born.Mr. Amos was a farmer and was ongaged in 4this pursuit around Fayette vicinity all of his llfo. He was strong, vigorous, friendly. The last few years he had been crippled by an accident find had been in the home of his son, Jesse. The pain and suffering he bore courageously.Those of the immediate family who remain are the wife, sons, Archie ofJ Waterloo. Iowa, Jesse of Arlington, Iowa, Howard of Hawkeye, Iowa. His brother, George, lives at Arlington, Iowa. He has a nephew, Ellas Amos, of Waterloo, Iowa. There are 12 granchildren.Funeral services were held in the Methodist church In FUyette, Rev. Marion U Suuderlin officiating. Music was by Mrs. R. R. Erion anil Mrs. I Vern Rowland, who sang. Miss Barbara Jean Rankin was accompanist.Burial was in the Fayette cemetery.
