A Birthday Party,—One of the pleasant events oi the season was a birthday party at the farm residence of Mr, and Mrs. John Wtdsmatidel near Viola. The party was given in honor Mrs Weis'Riandel's birthday, and there were about 15 guests. Those from Ore* gon City were Mr, and Mrs, Dan Lyonsf and Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Howard and family. The gathering was a great success socially and a splendid dinner woe served.
