A Kptrllcd Social Gathering.Excitoment is at fever heat in Carter County, Ky. A party of one hundred Regulators went to the bouse of James Biuion, where a notorious character named John Bragg was concealed, and demanded tbo latter. Instantly Binion opened a fusilade on them, firing fifty shots into the party and killing ono of their number. This so enraged them that they smashed the door in, and in doing so broke the leg of Binion’s wife with a Btone. They then put three bullets into the body of Binion, killing him instantly. Haring done wbiob, they secured Bragg, Wok him uul audd^uug him to atree. They then took tho nineteen-year-old son of Binion out and whipped him mercilessly lor joining bis father in the fusilade.
