For the St. Louis Christian Advocate.Flint Hill Female High School, St. Charles'County, Mo.The undersigned patrons and friends of this institution take this method of calling public attention to the above named school, us being deservedly popular and worthy the favor and patronage of those who may desire to give their daughters a thorough English education, not only in the solid but also in the ornamental branches.The interest manifested by the students, and the progress they evince in the various branches they are pursuing, give promise of what may and will be accomplished if it shall receive the patronage and support that it so deservedly merits.Mrs. E. P. Monroe, the worthy Principal who has the superintendence of the institution, possesses the happy faculty to make study attractive, and to govern with that maternal kindness that secures the affection and obedience of herschool. She has had the advantage of several years experience in teaching, and ever maintained an enviable popularity with her patrons and students.The music department is conducted by a competent teacher.The location of this school will compare favorably with any other for healthfulness, morality,and intelligence.Board may be had in private families on reasonable terms.
