St. cTE?nENs, M. T. Feb. 16.The Creek Indians are again com* rnencing their career of bloodshed and murder. It is ascertained from a cor rect source, that Daniel Johnson, .esq. a very respectable citizen of Baldwin county, who was about cultivating a farm on the Alabama, SO or 40 rtiiles a-bove fort Claiborne, and a person with him, whose name is not remembered; have been cruelly murdered. Mr. Xfonsuo, (at we learn) had carried a-way with him some negroes and horses, in order to prepare for the reception of his family. But alas! before he wa? ready to receive them, his days were cut short by the savage tu.11 a hawk! and hit body mangled in a most shocking trar»8er. What a scene of horror for his disconsolate wife and bereaved children ! the picture is too mournful to dwrll upon. A o*rty of men was immediately rai3e4 a..d pursued the murderers—no ioteihgeuce ha* been received from them.
