Irving GibsonFuneral services were held Monday morning in the Heber 1Ward Chapel of the Church of cJesus Christ of Latter Day Saints tfor Irving L. Gibson, 79, who passed iaway at a friends home in Payson ion Friday. *Mr. Gibson was born in lt;Fredricksburg, Tex. and came to Arizona in 1919. Fie first settledin Chandler where he owned and foperated the White Cross Drug fcStore from 1924 until 1934. In v1935, he purchased the Halter sCross Ranch near Heber which ]he has operated for the past 41 years.At the time of his death, he was vice president of the Arizona Livestock Production Credit Association, of which he had been a member of the board of directors since 1947. He was president of the advisory board of SitgravesNational Forest from 1960 to 1975.He was a veteran of the Marines and served during World War I.He was a 1 s o a member of the American Legion.He is survived by two sons, Richard P. of Heber, and Hugh B., of Phoenix; one brother, Oscar Gibson, of Glendale; and seven , grandchildren.
