It’s not easy for a four-year old boy to find his way home in the city when he gets lost more than a mile away. That's what happened to Mike Mitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom L. Mitchell of 801 E. Williams. His mother had taken her children and some neighbor children with her Friday after noon when she stopped to shop at Banks. She cautioned the children to stay in the car. Missing Mike after she had driven home, she called Banks to be on the lookout for him and also notified police. Mike was found by a Courier carrier, Steve Greene of No. 1 Kingsley Drive, who saw him walking along crying. He took him to the home of one of his route customers, Mrs. W. E. Arnett of 911 Chester, so he would be warm and to see if she could find where he be longed. Mrs. Arnett notified po lice. He had been missing about an hour. Mike wasn't really lost. He had crossed the highway and was about half way home. He was going the right direction too.
