Evidently Matchmaker Leo Kos sick thinks this wrestling feud be tween Gust “Swede Granberg of Fargo and George “Nasty Mans” Deck of Oklahoma City has gone far enough. These homicidal heavyweights will wrestle to a finish—best two out of three falls—in the feature at traction of next Tuesday’s 19th weekly Elks charity fund athletic show, Kossick announced today. The two have met twice before. On the first occasion their tre mendous tiff ended in a draw. The second time Referee Charley Retz laff, the lambasting Leonard heavy weight boxer, knocked Deck as flat as a wrestler can be knocked when the Oklahoma Cition persisted in using strangleholds on the Swede. Now Kessick, after hours of wrangling with the two, will send them together in a head on collis sion with the sky the limit and may the best man win. In the boxing program, a double windup of six rounds pits Billy Norton of Fargo against Al Gab risch of St. Paul at welterweight poundage, and Johnny DeOtis of Minneapolis against Johnny Baker of Grand Forks at 133 pounds. What promises to be the high light of the ring sessions, however, finds Max Kalbrener, coming Moor head star, stopping four rounds with Abie Hofer of Lisbon at 142 pounds. Elroy Bushaw of Grand Forks, pleasing lightweight, takes on the hard-socking Bob Sullivan of Fargo in the four-round open er. Kossick will referee the boxing bouts with Spud Murphy officiat ing during the Granberg-Deck brawl. , Reserved seats at 65 cents are on sale at the Grand, Nestor, Wal dorf Billerds and Elks club in Fargo and Kossick’s in Moorhead.
