The dramatization was made by Nelson A. Lawrence a well known actor and scenic artist, last season with the Winnipeg Permanent Players.The local talent that has been secured to present this famous play will be under his personal direction and ought to give a performance far superior to anything attempted before ^ by Warren amateur thespians. !The play itself is too well known to need description, but a word may be said of the new scenery which will be used and which will be left as a permanent fixture for the Warren Opera House. The first act shows the “Alten Fjord” in summer, the home of Thelma. This scene depicts with wonderful realism the “Land of the Midnight Sun.” The second act being still in Norway is another charming stage setting showing the “Falls of Niedegorz” near the village of Bosekop. The third and fourth acts take you to London, the home of Sir Phillip Errington. This setting is a very elaborate library scene done in the latest mission oak effect. The fifth and last act goes back to Norway giving chances for some very pretty and startling electrical effects.
