METHODISTS HAVE BEEH ORGANIZED 0VEJJJ25 YEARSThe first Methodist church in Harrisonburg was erected in 178!». This church was erected on the present site of the Church of the Brethren on ttie West Water street hill. This was perhaps the first organized Methodist congregation in Rockingham.The second church on the hill was erected following plans made in 18U5.
