THE OIL MEETINGThe oil producers meeting at Independence, last Saturday, was well attended. A very large crowd assembled in the auditorium anti listened to speeches by prominent men.Gov. l-Ioch and Cong. Campbell were there and made speeches as did a number of other distinguished visitors. Ida M. Tarbcll the noted writer against Standard methods was present but declined to talk. A letter from her, however, giving her views on the conditions, was read. Congressman Campbell made a very telling speech which we give below:
