Dr, Thomas, of Pine Hill, informs us that he has made three shipments of a carload each, of the white clay found on Col. J. A. j August's farm. This clay went to i the John Bauer Pottery Works, Louisville, and the company is sot well pleased that they have expressed a desire to use it exclusive-tly, if the supply will be equal tothe demand. An entry will be made into the hill, which contains a five foot vein.
