Nine students of the club traveled to San Antonio on March 21-23 to participate in the French symposium. Wonder what a symposium is? It’s a contest consisting of competition in written and oral contests and also tests in the French language. Students will also participate in contests concerning art, clothes-making and music of the French.Schools from all over Central Texas will be competing. They will have a chance to compete in levels from 1-4 and a separate class, the Native speaker, depending on how much of the language they know. Sponsoring the students will be Mrs. Hartsfield, the French teacher.The club has been earning money all year to participate in the symposium so 1 hope they had good luck and lots of fun!Miss Cove Pageant“Miss Cove” is to be selected April 4 and 5.
