It was announced at the Mon day night meeting of the Honey Grove Chamber of Commerce that actual construction work would start in the next sixty days on installation of 24 morely-vapor type street lights in Honey Grove. These will be place on 5th and 6th streets from the TP depot to the City Hall and around the square. The Texas Power Light Co., also revealed that later this type street light would be installed on highway 82 from the west to the east city limits of Honey Grove. The proposal of Texas Power Light Co. to install these lights had been accepted some time ago by the Honey Grove City Com mission, composed of Mayor Myur Smith and Commissioners J. }. Holman and Alton Swain. The Chamber was advised Monday night that necessary equipment had been ordered and that en gineering work for the project had been completed. The Chamber also took action toward establishing an industrial fund. Edward Southerland, Jon ham attorney, has been engaged to draw up necessary articles of incorporation for the Honey Grove Industrial Foundation, Inc. The fund will be a revolving fund with shares to be issued and share purchasers will be entit led to one vote for each $5.00 invested.
