John Davis and W. H. Culton, charged with complicity in the murder of Wm. Goebel, it is now ordered that ou Friday, March 23, 1900, and on every subsequent day during the examination of said parties, the Sheriff of the county, with the power of the county if need be, is authorized and directed to place a sufficient guard arouud the Courthouse premises, and not to allow any person or persons to enter the Courthouse or Courthouse grounds during said days of examination except the following, to-wit: The officers of court, the defendants and their counsel, one representative of each newspaper, producing proper credentials, and also witnesses for the Commonwealth and the accused, but such witnesses shall only be ad-mltted one at a time, and only at such time as they shall be needed to testify.
