It has been a very successful term—the roll number* log 214 students, and everybody, teachers, pupils and patrons, taking a great deal of interest in it. The examinations of sll the departments were completely sucoessful. Miss N. J. Bolster, who teaches the Primary Department, had her school examined on Wednesday. The singing of the little ones was excellent, as wss also the singing of the entire school. They presented Miss Bolster with s Photographic Album, as a token of their affection and esteem for her. Thursday, Miss M. R. Lsird's school—the Intermediate Department—was examined, with much satisfaction to all the parents present. Miss Laird is a wsnhy lady and an energetic teacher. Her students also presented her with a fine album. Yesterday Mr. Laird's department passed an equally successful examination. The essays and declamations interspersed with the class.es. were sll interacting, and of a h%h tonr._Miss Emma Osborn, Mias Annie Rood, Miss Homans, McCord, Inman, Clough, ^4 others, sll read interesting perform a'jeflB, Mr. Laird was presented, by his eca00l# with s fine gold pen and an album, wb\ch were siren and received with tearful ey*oa.
