Smith University, died in a local hospital here last Friday, following a series of extended illnesses.Crudup, son of the late Byrd Crudup and Delia Stork Crudup. was born September 15. 1897 in Edenton.. N.C. He was graduated from the Rindge Manual Training School, Cam* bridge, Mass.His A.B. degree was received from-Lincoln University (Pa.) in-1925. and the M.Ed. degree from Boston University in 1939. He did further* studies at Boston and Harvard- Universities.« • •CRUDUP BEGAN his teaching career at Bartlett HighSchool. St. Joseph. Mo. in 1925He subsequently taught at North Carolina College at Durham, Dillard University, and then Johnson C.
