LUSKum — The Niobrara County board of education has been giving consideration to possible consolida tion of the Manville and Lusk High Schools into one county high school next fall. The amalgamation was sched uled previously for the fall of 1954. Though it would result in crowded conditions for the first year, the board has been confronted ‘with vacancies in the office of the prin cipal and English classes at Lusk, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Hatcher, principal and English instructor and librarian, have informed the’ board they are not returning. The board said it felt the combining of the two schools might be more feasible this fall, resulting in 4]: $20,000 saving on instructors at|! |Bianville.
