There will be a public installation of Bethsaida Shrine Number 43, White Shrine of Jerusalem, on Thurs day evening, March 22, at the Ev anston Masonic temple at 8:15 p. m. The retiring officers are Emma L. Wickersham, high priestess, and Paul D. Blake, Watchman of Shepherds. Mary Morris Kinder, first high priest ess, will serve as mistress of cere monies. Those serving as installing officers are all past high priestesses and are as follows: Anna L. Brace, as installing officer; Dorotha Flan ingam, as worthy herald; Louise Rep logle, as chaplain; Lila Lee Watkins, as scribe; Cora Peck Arvidson, as inviting herald. The installing organ ist and soloist are William E. Hardie and Louise Palmer Bennett, Jessie C. Hunt will be guest of honor while Mary Morris Kinder and Robert F. Milne are honored guests. Those serving as ushers are all past watchmen of shepherds, and are as follows: Robert F.. Milne, Ralph Watts, Samuel P. Watkins, Roy A. Hopkins, Charles Brace, and Melvern S. Humphryes. Lester M. Witt, a son of the incoming high priestess, will serve as flag bearer, and Beatrice Tyler, as bugler. Aman da Lynn Thomson will give the Ode to the Flag. The Escorts are Evans ton Commandary No. 58, Knight Tem plar, with Sir Knight William A. Onsrud as commander and Bethel No. 44 Order of Job’s Daughters, with Cecelia Hills as honored queen. The flowers will be in charge of Ethel Martin, Etha Boehm, Betty M. Witt, and Mary Mordoff. The officers to be installed are: Hattie B. Witt, as high priestess; Dr. Gordon E. Mordoff as watchman of shepherds; Anna L. Blake as noble prophetess; E. Ruth Milne as scribe; Mary M. Kinder as treasurer; Madge C. Mordoff as chaplain; Beulah E. Doering, as shepherdess; Almina June Roren, as guide; Elsie G. Dirks as herald; John H. Thomson, as first wiseman; Henry G. Williams, as sec ond wiseman; Henry H. Eichling, as third wiseman; Rudolph E. Hamann, as king; Gladys K. Shellman as queen; Elva Eichling as first hand maid; Lillian Little as second hand maid; Anna Stephenson, as third handmaid; Myra M. Petrie, as organ ist; Mabel A. Moore, as guardian; Alvah O. Callow, as guard; William H. Shellman, as flag bearer, and the following as escorts to the flag: May Woodhead, Dorothea Wert, Carlye Ridgeway, Anna Komm, Katherine Parrish, and Bonnie B. Knutz; Anna L. Brace, as instructress; Eva G. Pyfer as correspondent; Alvah Cal low, as stereptician, and Emma L. Wickersham as mistress of robes. The choir will consist of Deva Howard as director, Dorothy Wit church, Louise Smith, Grace Skel ton, Agnes Hamann, Marian Lauser, Elizabeth Tobey and Elsie Callow. The Queen will be escorted by the following: Elizabeth Carlson, as cour ier; Leila Wahlberg, as matron of honor; Jennie Petrie, as flower girl, and the following attendants, Jessie Davis, Carolyn Tyler, Alla Heater, Helen Cook, Delia Grantz, Viola Fjellman, Rachel Schmidt, Ella Sor enson, Anna Pettigrew, May Dickin son, Ethel Vassilatos, Isabel Obnett, Grace Hills, Amelia Mack, Edith Kloess, Pearl Huppenbauer, Irene Downie, Grace Grantz, Eva Saxer, Iva Cook and Eva G. Pyfer. After the installation there will be a program consisting of a solo by Louise Palmer Bennett, readings by Evangie Lee Morgan, organ by Wil liam E. Hardie, and songs by Beth ‘said a choir. —E.
