Kavanna to Have Electric LightsRavanna, an inland town in Mercer county, is to have electric lights with continuous service, and in that connection the Princeton Post last week printed the following:The citizens of Ravanna are elated over the fact that they are to have electric lights. Last December, the town voted a franchise and a contract for street lighting to the Consumers Public Service Company of Brookfield and it was announced this week that as soon as the weather permits a line will be built connecting Ravanna with Lucerne.The Consumers Public Service company, is now supplying fourteen towns with current and Ravanna is fortunate in being able to join the group. For some time the business section of the town has been lighted by a Delco system, but the new arrangement will enable the entire community to secure lights and power.
