William Fisher, negro arrested last Saturday night by Night Chief James Greer and Officer Moffitt, charged with the theft of a num ber of bunches of shingles from the Babcock Lumber company, was ar raigned before Judge John A. Col lins in police court this morning. Fisher pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $100, in defeat of which he was lodged in the city, jail. Beaulah Jones, negress, who was arrested on the same charge and who has been held in jail, was released this morning.
