A man styling himself yellow-stone Kit lies stirred up the people of Shreveport to much wrath.He has been in that city for a week or two past selling liver pads chough drops and other curative essences. The mode of his selling is something after the order of Banyan. It appears that yel-lowstone Kit in his harangues sought to array different classes against each other and provoke disorder. It is further charged against him that he has been too free and thoughtless in his expressions and references to respectable people in that community and that he has been particularly savage in his expressions about the editorial fraternity. The result of yellowstone Kits effer-! ap re8cences and hilarities is, that lie has been arrested under act No. 118 of the last legislature which provides a penalty against such talk as he has indulged in.
