March 21.—PatrickCragin was arrested this forenoon on acharge of having inflicted Injuries, Saturdayevening, on John Griffin that resulted inthe death of the latter at an early hour this morning. There was a saloon vow at Dan O’Connor’s place, and the statements of parties In regard to the part Cragin took in it are exceedingly conflicting. Cragin claims he did not strike or kick Griflin, but that the latter struck him (Cragin) with a beer glass and made an ugly wound on Ids head.
