■Student Council Announces Theme For Annual Variety Show, Ap. 10-11By Barb FryePotpourri! What is it? It is the theme for the Variety Show. As the theme implies, this year’s show will consist of a mixture of acts. Because of the wide scope of the theme, there is no limit as to the type of acts in the show.Naturally, there are singing groups, dance routines, and skits. Hoepfully, the faculty band will also be performing. The “Senior Party,” a take-off on “Laugh In,” will add some humor to the show, while some modem dance routines will demonstrate the creativity of STHS girls. One of the features of the evening will be the appearance of Fone de Wit, this year's foreign exchange student from Holland. De Wit will play the piano, after which he will be interviewed briefly by Mark Perone.Neil Cooperrider and John Woodson will be an STHS version of Rowan and Martin. As emcees, Cooperrider and Woodson will keep the audience entertained between acts. The Variety Show has become an annual STHS event, this being its fourth year.
