Lowe, Bannock county schools superintendent said Saturday.“However, the district will not begin to function as planned in the reorganization until a new high scuool has been constructed, which might be some time in the future,” he said.All funds of the four independent districts and the common districts merged into a new class A district are being administered by the board of trustees, but classes will continue in the separate high schools until a new, centrally located structure has been erected to fit the needs of the district, he inferred.Mr. Burrup, newly appointed superintendent, has been superintendent of Downey school the past four years, Lowe said. His appointment was announced by Marcell Thomas, Swan Lake, trustee ooard secretary.Lowe pointed out that Burrup would be able to step into the new position immediately, as Hervin Williams, principal of the Downey high school is in a position to ad-minster the Downey system until completion of the present term.Members of the board of trustees for the new district are: Leo Hansen, McCammon, chairman; Mr. Thomas, secretary; Willis Brimm. Downey; Atherton •Farr, Arimo, and Ellis Wilmore, Lava Hot Springs. They will serve until regular school board elections in September, when a board will be selected. Members elected in the September election will be named terms of one, two and three years, Lowe said.
