Former Democratic Nom inee Enlists; 12 From Board 465 Pass John F. Wright, 516 Stolp’ Ave nue, who was Democratic nominee for district attorney, was among selectees up for induction examina tion here today. He was in a group of 12 from Local Board 466 and volunteered. Charles J. Neuhaus, 111 Clover Street, another member of today’s contingent, is the second of his fam ily to go, a brother having volun teered in the first quota in Novem ber. Daniel J. Todero, 134 Grand Ave nue; Robert J. Williams, 328 Grant Avenue: Mr. Wright; John S.S. Becker, 109 Malcolm Street; Carle ton L. Weaver, 115 Burt Street; Joseph C. Forand,1864 Bellevue Avenue; Lawrence G. Tillotson, 100 Leland Avenue; Anthony Brescia, 225 West Castle Street; Mayer M. Meltzer, 1304 South McBride Street, and Mrs. Nehaus were listed as having been accepted before noon. One of the two other men was dis qualified and the other unaccepted pending further examination. Five men in the Syracuse, group up for examination yesterday were disqualified. Figures are not avail able but many of those not ac cepted as Class 1-4 are marked 1-B, fit for limited service. In the Local Board 465 group ac cepted and sent to Fort Niagara were the following 12 ° out of 17 men sent in for Army examination: Anthony P. Mirache, 410 Fabius Street; Arthur J. Cleary,107 Cen tury Drive; Mario. John Di Renzo, 248 Shennard Street;.. James J. White, Long Island City; Harry E. Woolson, 645 Gifford Street; Ken neth J. Danzi, Swift Co. Sara nac Lake; Robert E. Peek, 109 Davis Street; John R. Phillips, 945 South Geddes Street; Kenneth G. Kingsley, 701 Gifford Street; Au brey W. Tambs, 266 Holland Street; Francis W. Geno, 219 Mar cellus Street, and Matthew J. Woj cicki, 825 South Wilbur Avenue. The Postal Bulletin carried no tice today that men volunteering or drafted under the Selective Serv ice System will be restored to the rolls without loss of seniority upon expiration of their term of mili tary training service, but this rule does not apply to any other form of volunteer enlistment.
